Acoustic. Electric. Bass. A setup that starts with you.

01 / Find your feel

Small adjustments.
A different connection.

From a fresh set of strings to a full refret, start with what’s working—and what isn’t.

01Guitar & bass setups

Acoustic and electric guitars, plus basses. Adjustments to neck relief, action, string radius, nut slots and intonation; pickup height for electric guitars. Fret polishing is included with a setup; leveling is extra.

02Fret dressing & refrets

From cleanup and polishing to a full level, crown and polish—or full fret replacement. Scott checks for uneven frets and discusses the work your instrument needs.

03Restringing & cleaning

Fresh strings, careful cleaning and conditioning. Bring your own strings or ask about buying a set at the workshop.

04Electronics & hardware

Electronics repair and hardware replacement are available. Call to describe the issue and discuss the right next step for your guitar or bass.

05Minor & body repairs

Minor repairs and some body repairs can be considered at the shop on a case-by-case basis. Talk with Scott about the instrument and the problem first.

06Consultation & advice

Unsure what is causing the problem? Start a conversation about playability, tone and what you’d like your instrument to do.

02 / More than a string change

What makes
a setup yours?

A setup is a series of adjustments that work together. Your strings, picking style and preferences all shape the result.

Scott starts with a conversation, checks the instrument and makes recommendations. It’s about the connection between the player and the guitar.

03 / A musician at the bench

From playing guitars.
To caring for yours.

A professional musician gigging since the early ’90s, Scott began by setting up his own guitars. Today, he offers guitar and bass setups, fret work and repairs from his Farmingville workshop.
